Back from the Brink: Murder City

This crisis committee will focus mainly on the current situation in Ciudad Juarez, specifically the high rates of femicide and crime from large drug cartels. The fragmented nature and continuously shifting alliances of major groups such as the Sinaloa and Juarez cartel have made it one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Delegates will be challenged to analyze how to possibly negotiate peace and enact protections for their citizens.
